Define, design and deliver a new office concept for the Helsinki HQ
The objective of the HOT- project (Helsinki Office Transformation) was to define, design and deliver a new office concept for the Helsinki HQ that would enable better communications, improve employee experience, create a versatile and efficient environment to support teamwork and support an open culture for knowledge sharing internally and externally.
The project was carried out during 08/16-10/17 as a part of a larger global transformation programme within Comptel. During the project Comptel was acquired and the acquisition process was finalized around the same stage as the project delivery.
Co-creative process where employees were involved throughout the process.
This project was ran in close collaboration with the client organization and Agile Work became an integral part of the internal transformation team.
The project was carried out as a deeply co-creative process during which employees were involved throughout the process through multiple workshops, surveys, benchmark visits, pilot projects and co-creative design sessions.
Change management and communication support was also a critical part of the project to help employees transition into the new office environment.
The greatest value was clearly the expertise in workplace transformation overall, knowledge of the typical stages in such initiatives, both from project and change management point of view.
The defined, designed and delivered Connected Office- concept is made out of 20 different spatial types that support new ways of working of the organization.
The new office in Helsinki provides different spaces for external interaction, internal collaboration as well support individual work that requires focus.
The end result is a flexible platform that enables change over time and growth as the company moves to the next chapter. The project was delivered in budget and in a tight schedule during summer and autumn of 2017.
