At its annual meeting, the Finnish Facility Management Association FIFMA decided to change its name to IFMA Finland and join the Global network of IFMA chapters, thus enabling international membership to all its national members.

The aim of the change is to promote international relations and communicate EU-level advocacy measures to Finland, as well as to highlight opportunities for advocacy in Finland.

Agile Work wants to be strongly involved in supporting the development of the industry, and we are pleased to announce that Antti Pitkänen, Agile Work’s Director of Research and Strategy and Chairman of the Board, has been appointed to IFMA Finland’s Board of Directors.

“I believe in the power of networks in developing new business and promoting the industry. In IFMA’s Finnish operations, I am fascinated by the development of workplace management skills, raising public awareness and the new opportunities brought by joining an international network. ” says Antti.

“It is great to have Antti join our board of directors at IFMA Finland. Antti brings a fresh touch to the network with a holistic approach to workplace management. His expertise in branding and communication as well as his international orientation is also very important. I look forward to working with him and the rest of the board!” says Maija Patjas, the chairman of the board.

In addition to Anti, IFMA’s Board of Directors 2020 consists of Maija Patjas, who serves as chairman of the board, from Rapal, Jenita Kokkoniemi from SRV Rakennus Oy, Jukka Backlund from ISS Palvelut Oy, Ray Lindberg from CBRE Finland Oy and Vitalija Danivska from Aalto University.

We look forward to what opportunities this brings to the industry.
