Future Workspaces at Colony Vallila

Colony offers modernized and comfortable office and workspaces in the Helsinki metropolitan area, while simultaneously developing the existing building stock for contemporary use. The Vallila location is situated in a rapidly developing area between Kalasatama and Pasila and is part of Colony’s hybrid work–supporting Colony Lounge network model. The over 100-year-old building combines industrial character with the requirements of modern work.

Agile Work plays a key role in co-developing the property into an experiential and attractive multitenant real estate. Agile Work’s new office space is also located on the second floor of the building, adjacent to the Colony Lounge. The property has undergone significant development, increasing its appeal— new tenants have joined, and the overall attractiveness of the site has grown clearly.

We develop the property as a holistic entity where the building’s history meets modern solutions. The design of the spaces emphasizes experience, flexibility, and community, enabling employees, clients, and partners to meet in meaningful ways.

The Colony Lounge features a variety of meeting rooms equipped with modern technology, quiet focus areas, and a community work café. The lounge also serves as an inspiring showcase space where tenants can explore various spatial and material solutions through Agile Work’s interactive Design Corner and Future Lab.

Sustainable and User-Centric Solutions

The property is certified according to the BREEAM standard, meets EU Taxonomy requirements, and is carbon neutral. Sustainability guides all spatial solutions. The design emphasizes experiential and purposefully planned lighting, ergonomics, and acoustics that support wellbeing and concentration.
Long-lasting, environmentally certified materials create a durable and cohesive whole that will remain functional for years. The spaces can be adapted to the needs of teams and working methods, ensuring they evolve alongside both Colony and its tenants.
