A new generation workplace for a pioneer in construction
Horisontti, Finland's first office skyscraper and SRV's new headquarters, exemplifies how physical spaces can support strategic change and modern working life. Since 2023, Agile Work has been SRV's strategic partner in designing its new headquarters and leading the workplace transformation. The goal was to develop a flexible, experiential, and user-centred office space that serves different work roles and supports both individual and team work. The project took into account the new rhythm of work, the requirements of hybrid work, and the importance of community spirit—not only in terms of space solutions, but also in the development of working methods and leadership models.


Participatory and agile transformation process
The transformation of the workplace was managed in a participatory, systematic, and data-driven manner. Employees were involved through digital surveys, hybrid workshops, and co-creation. The change agent model enabled influence throughout the organisation: representatives selected from the teams acted as a link between the project team, management, and users. This increased commitment helped to identify development needs on time. Close cooperation with the core team, a phased design process, and clear guidance ensured that the objectives were achieved and that employees genuinely felt that the new workplace was their own.
A future-proof, sustainable and effective headquarters
All design solutions were selected in accordance with LEED Platinum sustainability principles. Long-lasting materials, circular economy, and life cycle management of the premises created a sustainable foundation for future development. The spatial concepts were presented using interactive digital models, which supported decision-making both internally and with external partners. The result is a vibrant, scalable, and strategically managed workplace that supports the employee experience and business development now and in the future.
